Police Arrest Members Of 5-Man Robbery Gang After Spiritualist Turns On Them





Suspects in a 5-man robbery gang were arrested by the men of the Ogun State Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS after their spiritual adviser reportedly turned on them and reported their activities.

The robbery gang who wreck mayhem along the Lagos and Ogun state border consists of 3 Nigerians and 2 Beninoise men- Adebayo Salako, Sefiu Kareem, Kola Isaq, Abiodun Arapamido and Fagbemi Isaiah. They reportedly stole a Toyota Highlander and made away with the vehicle after dropping off the owner- previously locked up in the boot of the car- and parking it at the spiritual adviser’s home in Ilaro.

According to this report, they were picked up from their hideout after the spiritual adviser who is also a member of the gang, had a change of heart and gave them up to the police.

The suspects are being detained at the FSARS Magbon Abeokuta.”

A police source, who requested anonymity, said: “Policemen attached to Ogun State Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, arrested five men in their hideout. The suspects are being detained at the FSARS Magbon Abeokuta.”

The leader of the gang, identified simply as Peter, is said to be on the run.
