We Have Confidence In Governor Okezie Ikpeazu - Senate





The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has  described the death of late Senator Onyekachi Okoroafor and Chief Ojo Maduekwe all of Abia State as a personal loss.

Governor  Ikpeazu disclosed this while addressing the Senate delegation, who came to condole with the Governor over the loss of the two Abia indigenes.

The Governor regreted that such elders could die in the period Abia is passing through attack on its pillar of unity as some politicians are attacking the democracy of the State, stating that these men's wise counsel would have been needed. He assured that Abia will come out of its present challenges stronger.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Senator Biodium Olujimi they were in the State to commiserate with him over the demise of Senator Onyekachi Okoroafor and Chief Ojo Maduekwe. She said the time was not the best of times for both Abia Nigeria as economy is in shambles and infrastructure is bad.

Senator Olujimi said their coming was as a show of how much the Senate believes in the Governor and his governance. She said that they are with him, assuring him that the Egyptians he sees today, he will see them again no more and prayed God to console Abians.
