Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, was cut short by the pastor of a black church in Flint, Michigan, on Wednesday in the midst of his remarks criticizing Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

As Trump went on his usual attack of Clinton for her support of global trade deals, pastor Faith Green Timmons interrupted to tell Trump her church had not invited him to “give a political speech,Reuters reports.

“Oh, oh, OK, that’s good,” Trump responded, shuffling papers on his podium at Bethel United Methodist Church.

The mogul-turned-politician then made a few remarks about fixing Flint’s drinking-water issues before leaving the church.

On a tour of Flint water facility
Trump, whose campaign has been fraught with upheavals, had visited the city to view its water crisis first-hand and extend his recent outreach to African-American voters ahead of the Nov. 8 election, although polls show black voters largely favor Clinton.

Earlier this month, the fiery New Yorker who has been on a charm offensive on Black communities, held an event at a black church in nearby Detroit and pledged to help them tackle the problems of poverty and crime.

When challenged by some members of the crowd of about 50 people, including a woman who accused him of discriminating against black renters as a landlord in the 1970s, he replied: “No, I never would, never would.”

The Real Estate tycoon also toured Flint’s water-treatment plant, which has been shut down since lead was found in the water supply.
