Mariah Carey became engaged at the start of 2016 after a whirlwind romance. 11 months later, everything crashed.
The 46-year-old star admitted to Ellen Degeneres that the breakup was a ''whole friggin' thing'.
Asked how she's feeling 'mentally' and whether she's 'happy,' Mariah responded:
'I think I’m doing well. No. I'm actually. Everything happens for a reason, things are the way they are.'
When asked about Packer's reluctance to star in Mariah's upcoming E! docu-series Mariah's World asking,
'He didn’t want to be in the docu-series at all. And yet he’s in it. You see him.'
Mariah replied coyly:
''Allegedly'. It’s kind of difficult to talk about it at the moment.''
Mariah had put on a dazzling display in a low-cut waistcoat style top and trousers for the interview.
