Yesterday, wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo was in attendance as Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode unveiled her grand-father, Chief Obafemi Awolowo's iconic statue in the state.
The huge statue is loacted at the intersection of Lateef Jakande Road and Obafemi Awolowo Way.
According to Ambode, 'Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s legacies and landmark achievements, have endured and remain a source of inspiration for progressive leadership in the country'.
