Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, says there will be no automatic presidential ticket for President Buhari in the 2019 general election.
Okorocha who was being specific about the presidential election, said if President Buhari decides to rerun for office in 2019, he would have to also campaign and contest for the party's ticket during the party's presidential primary election. He said
President Buhari has not come out to say he would be seeking a second term in office.
Okorocha said this today while speaking with state house correspondents after he had a closed-door meeting with President Buhari.

“We won’t allow the imposition of candidates. It must be democratically done. If President Buhari will lead the ship in 2019, it must be democratically done and I say democratically, transparently.”
President Buhari has not come out to say he would be seeking a second term in office.
