Pop star Christina Aguilera’s has revealed her heartbreak at finding out an ex-boyfriend was gay.
The singer revealed on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” that the Latin lover she sings about on the 2002 song “Infatuation” was actually gay, according to People.“It was heartbreaking because I found out he played for your team, not mine,” Aguilera, 37, told RuPaul
Fellow competing contestant on “Drag Race” told her, “He’s gonna see this, he’s gonna be mad.”
“I hope so, girl,” Aguilera replied.
The “Genie in a Bottle” artist went on to talk about other men that were the subject of some of her songs, including the man who inspired the track “Fighter.”
“Being taking advantage of (by the guy for whom I) created ‘Fighter,’ growing up in this business at a young age, you can just imagine being around older men a lot and dishonest people,” she told the contestants. “And it’s really hard.
