R&B singer Ashanti’s concerts – have turned into X-rated striptease shows in recent months.
In the clip, Ashanti and two of her female dancers can be seen giving three very happy young men in handcuffs, shaking their booties to Yo Gotti’s “Rake It Up.”
At the same show, Ashanti brought up her famous ex, Nelly, saying:
“see I just wanna make sure ya’ll understand exactly what I’m saying. Cuz I’ve been betrayed before, publicly at that.” And audience member then shouted, “f*ck Nelly” to which the “Rain On Me” singer replied “word” – cosigning his sentiment.
While Nelly has moved on and has a long-term partner, Ashanti hasn’t been so lucky in love.
It’s not exactly clear why the pair split ways, but Ashanti has shed a little light on their breakup before.
Back in 2015, she said: “I think sometimes when people have their own insecurities it allows them to act out of character. I have been betrayed. Again, you have to grow. You have to grow up and accept responsibility for the things that you do. I am not a big fan of people being cowards. I think it is really important to know yourself and understand what you want and get it. I’m in a different place right now.”
