Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, yesterday disclosed that his administration has spent about N12bn on power in the last one year.

The Governor made this known while speaking at the Lagos Means Business event which held at Victoria Island, Lagos state.
According to Governor Ambode, the money was used to buy diesel to power the 31, 446 street lights in the state. He said the street lights were installed to ensure that there adequate security and stability in all areas of the state.
