The Nigerian senate this morning explained why Senate president Bukola Saraki paid a visit to president Muhammed Buhari yesterday, In a series of tweets this morning, The senate through it's twitter account @NGRSenate said:
@bukolasaraki's visit to Villa is for Senate to know @NGRPresident's priority. To see how we can fast track passage of budget by February."
On the alleged missing budget, the handle stated that,
"Budget before @nassnigeria is a proposal, when president signs it, it cant be amended, we can turn budget upside down, it cant be missing. Budget cannot be stolen, it cannot be missing. Once budget is laid in the National Assembly, it has become the property of @nassnigeria."
