Waje Reveals Plan To Take 4 Years Break From Active Music

Its the season of artists taking break from music to concentrate on their private life and more. It all started with rapper Eva Alordiah, then Banky W followed and even international singer Adele also revealed her plans of taking a break to take care of her son.

Nigerian singer Aituaje Iruobe popularly known  as Waje has also revealed her plans to embark on a 4 year break from active music.

Waje tells The NET that she will go on a 4 year break after her album drops in September 2016.

In her words, ‘It’s something I’ve been considering for a while and now I think after the album drops and I round up with all the tours and promo, I’ll go on break for about 4 years’.

Asked why, Waje who has a 17 year old daughter says, ‘I want to have more kids, I want to focus on a business that I’ve had in mind for a long time and I also want to mentor a couple more young artistes’.

Waje has been in active music since 2007, she has since worked with Diamond Platnumz, P-Square, Banky W, M.I, Muna, Omawumi, eLDee, Lynxxx, Patoranking and many more.
