Isaac Alfa Wins Kogi East Senatorial Rerun Election

Air Marshal Isaac Alfa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged winner in the Kogi East senatorial rerun election.

The Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Lucky Ovwasa, announced this on Sunday in Kogi State, north-central Nigeria.

He said that Air Marshal Alfa polled a total vote of 56,572 ahead of his opponent from the Labour Party who scored 11, 908 votes.
