BREAKING: Messi Fails To Make UEFA Best Player Shortlist

The shortlist for the best player in Europe has been released and it contains a massive shock! Five-time ballon d’Or winner and Argentine captain, Lionel Messi failed to make the shortlist.

UEFA’s three-man shortlist contains Real Madrid player,Cristiano Ronaldo, Atletico talisman, Antoine Griezmannand a surprise inclusion, Gareth Bale.

Even more surprisingly, Lionel Messi was ranked below teammate Luiz Suarez who was picked fourth outside the top three. The winner of the award for the Best player in Europe will be announced on August 25.
