Nigeria has clinched another gold medal at the ongoing Rio Paralympics games in Brazil.
Team Nigeria got its latest medal in the women’s Shot Put event, through Lauritta Onye.
Onye’s first throw of 7.83m, saw her break her world record of 7.72m, her second throw was 7.54m while her third throw hit the 7.55m mark.
Her fourth throw of 8.40m won her the gold medal, giving Nigeria its 7th medal at the games.
