My Super Falcons Statement Was Taken Out Of Context - Solomon Dalung

The Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr. Solomon Dalung, has reacted to the outrage his statement that the Federal Government did not expect the Super Falcons to win the just-concluded CAF African Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon sparked.

According to Dalung, he was taken out of context.

Dalung spoke when President Muhammadu Buhari granted audience to the Senator Kabir Gaya-led delegation organising the National Youth Open Water Swimming Competition.

The minister said the government was committed to paying the outstanding entitlements of the players.
