Melania Trump came under fire on social media for reciting “The Lord’s Prayer.”.
Melania kicked off President Trump’s rally Saturday in Florida by delivering the prayer and while the crowd received the prayer enthusiastically.

"It is a great honor and great pleasure to stand here before you as the first lady of the United States,"
Melania said before reading the prayer from a paper,Fox news reports..

"I didn't know Melania would be reading the Lord's prayer," Trump said following the first lady's remarks.
However, she received quite the backlash on social media

“Melania starts the dictatorship rally with the Lord’s Prayer? NOT EVERY AMERICAN IS CHRISTIAN!!!! Country over party,” tweeted @JaimePrimak.
