Nicki Minaj Blows Up Twitter, Calls Out Shoe Designer Giuseppe Zanotti

Nicki Minaj is not having it today! It seems that shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti has a collection of sneakers named “Nicki.” The rapper thinks he’s using her name without giving her any credit for all 23 designs.
She tweeted, “This is wonderful. #GiuseppeZanotti seems to think it’s ok to name his sneakers after me but his PR says they won’t take our call. Lol.”

Understandably, Nicki is upset and wants to be appropriately compensated for the shoe designs. She also asked her 20-million-plus followers to help call him out.

Don’t care about the money. It’s just the disrespect. You’re not taking MY call? Lol. Give some money to charity in my name or smthn. ????????

Apparently, her loyal fans made good. Nicki retweeted that #GiuseppeWhatsGood was trending worldwide. And she even escalated things by challenging the designer to a boxing match.

The designer allegedly denied Nicki’s request to collaborate on a collection previously. So far, Zanotti’s company has not made any statements regarding Nicki’s tweets. But it has taken down all the shoes named “Nicki” on its website.
