Court Orders Permanent Forfeiture Of N7.6bn Linked To Former Petroleum Minister, Dieziani Alison-Madueke
The Federal High Court Sitting in Lagos has ordered the permanent forfeiture of N7,646,700,000 linked to former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
EFCC claims that the money was stashed in a bank account owned by Diezani.
Recall that the court on August 9th ordered the interim forfeiture of the money said to have been illegally kept in Sterling Bank Plc. The order granted by the vacation judge, Justice Chuka Obiozor, followed an ex parte application filed before him by EFCC.
