Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says he does not know who is paying for the treatment of President Buhari who is currently receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the UK.
President Buhari left Nigeria for the UK on May 7th.
Adesina was a guest on Channels TV this evening where he was asked who is footing President Buhari's medical bills. He answered,
"Does it matter at this point? I do not know who is paying but as a President, he has a right to be treated by the country”.
Adesina who was in the UK on Saturday to see President Buhari, said “The President I saw was sharp, he was smart, he was lucid. The President I saw was like his old self, almost completely mended. But then, like we said in the statement we issued which is what he said to us in the first place, he would come when his doctors say it’s time to go,”.
