Infidelity is never an easy thing to deal with it but different marriages deal with it in different ways. Some women cannot bear to stay in a relationship after their trust has been broken but some other women have the power to brave the storm and fight for their relationships- at least for a while.
1. Hillary Clinton
Long before she almost made history as the first female president of the United States, Hillary Clinton had to deal with a very public case of infidelity. Her husband Bill Clinton, who was president then was caught in an affair former white house intern, Monica Lewinsky. The couple worked it out and are still together forty-two years after they got married.
2. Toke Makinwa
Before calling it quits with her Maje Ayida, media personality, Toke Makinwa stayed even after she found out about her husband’s extramarital relationships. She details the heart wrenching account in her autobiography, ‘On Becoming’. Makinwa stayed in the relationship with hopes that things would get better. Sadly they didn’t.
3. Vanessa Laine Bryant
Vanessa was only 19 when she married superstar NBA player Kobe Bryant. Two years later he was accused of rape which he denied. At a press conference he attended with his wife, he confessed to adultery; not rape. The charges were later dropped and he made peace with his wife.
4. Tiwa Savage
In 2016, the celebrity couple tethered at the brink of separation following a social media rant by Tee Billz that accused Tiwa Savage of infidelity. She countered with a video interview of hers accusing him of the same thing. It appears that the couple is gradually getting over the marital crisis as they’ve been seen together at events in recent times.
5. Wendy Williams
Several news outlets reported that Kevin Hunter, the twenty year husband of tv host Wendy Williams was having a longterm affair with a therapist he had known for ten years. The reports even confirmed that he bough her a house not far from his family home and was splitting time between the two women. Williams disagreed, using her tv time to dismiss the rumours and flash her diamond wedding ring. She had said publicly that she once caught Hunter cheating after the birth of their son but forgave him.
