Rapper and businessman, Jay-Z, has made a swift move to officially trademark the Iconic Roc-A-Fella Diamond hand symbol.
According to TMZ, the hip-hop mogul recently filed legal docs to obtain exclusive rights to the iconic symbol, which he's been flashing for several years.
In the court document, he applied for a trademark to use the diamond hand sign in a variety of entertainment services in either music, video, TV or film.
Recall that in 2005, Jay Z was sued over the symbol in by Diamond Dallas Page, but the case was settled out of court.
The new move comes just after the Jay- Z filed court docs through his company, S. Carter Enterprises, to obtain the rights for his new restaurant, Hovino.
