Media personality Toke Makinwa yesterday stepped out in Lagos for the official launch of her new book, ‘On Becoming’.

A launch she has already announced was sold out. Toke Makinwa sold all the books she brought to the launch. Again, according to a guest, tears flowed freely when Toke Makinwa rose to speak:

Tears rolled down my face tonight when @tokemakinwa spoke about her late parents, coupled with the fact that I was sitting next to her brother Femi @mak_makiller and he
was so emotional too... She has really define the phase "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"..
The book reading and launch was well attended by media bigwigs such as Nikky Olaoye, Tosin Bucknor, Timi Dakolo, Tania Omotayo, Waje, Debola Lagos, Gbemi Olateru, Kate Henshaw, Abike Dabiri, Mo Abudu and many more.
