Days After Recovering N4bn, EFCC Traces Another N2bn To Another Account Of PDP Gov Aspirant In Niger State

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have discovered N2 billion in another account operated by a former PDP governorship aspirant in Niger state and former Commissioner of Local Government in the state, Kantigi Liman.
Recall that on April 11th, the agency released a statement saying it discovered N4 billion in the accounts of two companies which he had links with.

Confirming the recent discovery, a source in the commission said the politician is currently on the run

“He is on the run and all efforts to track him down have been futile. The next option left for the Commission is to declare him wanted” the source said.

It is believed that the N2 billion deposited in the bank rakes in a monthly interest of over N33million.
