"Oscar Is The Most Respected Man In Hollywood Because He Keeps His Hands To Himself!" - Jimmy Kimmel Throws Shots Swipe At Weinstein And Trump (Video)

Jimmy Kimmel returned for the second year in a row to host the Oscars on Sunday night and during the night, he took a jab at the many men in Hollywood who have been accused of sexual misconduct since Harvey Weinstein.

Using the Oscar statue as an example of a man who keeps his hands to himself, Kimmel threw shade at Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein, and every other powerful man accused of sexual misconduct.

He said: "Oscar is a very respected man in Hollywood, just look at him. Keeps his hands where you can see them, never says a rude word, and most importantly no penis at all."

He added: "He is literally a statue of limitations. And that's the kind of men we need more of in this town."

He also pointed out the incredible rise seen recently by women in the industry.

Referencing Israeli actress Gal Gadot who played the title role in 'Wonder Woman", Kimmel said: "I remember a time when the major studios didn't believe a woman or a minority could open a superhero movie. And the reason I remember that time is because it was March of last year."

He discussed disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and demanded that Hollywood stamp out bad behavior.

He said: "If we can work together to stop sexual harassment in the workplace. If we can do that, women will only have to deal with harassment all the time in every other place they go."

Kimmel also took aim at Vice President Mike Pence, who is known for his anti-gay views. The late-night host discussed how the gay romance film 'Call Me by Your Name', despite being an Oscar-nominated feature, did not score big at the box office.

"We don't make films like 'Call Me by Your Name' to make money. We make them to upset Mike Pence," Kimmel said.

Addressing first-time nominee, 'Get Out' director Jordan Peele, Kimmel said: "None other than President Trump called 'Get Out' the best three-quarters of a movie he had seen this year.'

He also made fun of the White House following the resignation of White House communications director Hope Hicks.

"If the last two years have taught us anything, it's that reality can be depressing. But tonight's nominated documentaries show us that where there is darkness, there's also hope. Except at the White House. Hope quit on Wednesday," Kimmel said.
