Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has sacked his Senior Special Assistant on Administration, Mr Gurgur Japheth.
According to a press release signed by Acting Secretary to the state Government says his services were no longer needed.
The real reasons behind his sack were not revealed but Lasgidi Online can authoritatively say his sack is unconnected with his recent social media posts.
Before joining the governor, Mr Gurgur was the Assistant Registrar at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Administration ,Mr Gurgur Japheth has been relieved of his Appointment.
A letter to that effect signed by the Acting Secretary to the State Government, Dr.Bem Melladu, Stated that his services were no longer Needed.
Until this Development, Mr Gurgur was attached to the wife of the Executive Governor of Benue State,Dr.Eunice Ortom.
